Among all the wonderful sights, sound and smells of Yellowstone National Park there are a number of waterfalls throughout the park.We stopped at several of them as we made our way about the park. The waterfalls are very popular locations so many were very crowded and parking was an issue sometimes! But the ones we saw were worth the round & round of the parking lots!

We made our way along a winding road to a small parking lot in a small dent in the mountain over our heads. Firehole Falls was below the cliff and it was beautiful!

I moved down the road to a fence that overlooked the falls and was able to capture this totally different view!

One of the bigger waterfalls we passed over and over, as it is on one of the main roads. Gibbons Falls has a pretty big parking lot and a very long overlook so you can get a lot of different views.

I just had to get a video at Gibbons to remember the noise of all that water!

The most spectacular waterfall we saw was the Upper Falls on the Yellowstone River. This is a very popular waterfall with everyone including buses and buses of visitors but it was worth the stop!

This area is known as the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and leading up to the viewing area for the falls were some incredible canyons with cliffs that make it clear why the area was called Yellowstone!

The view of the Lower Falls was spectacular!

These falls required multiple images! This Black & White version shows the shapes and contrasts of the location.

When in Yellowstone, be sure to check out all the waterfalls. They are worth the time and parking lot hassles!

That is all for now!
