One of the things I enjoy most is finding people who are living creative lives.  A creative life was evident everywhere I looked yesterday while visiting the Pearl Fryar Topiary Garden, located in Bishopville, South Carolina.  This was not my first visit to 

Pearl Fryar’s garden.  My first visit was years ago, before I got as interested in photography.

Pearl began his garden in the 1980’s.  Everywhere you look in the garden, you will see it was a labor of love.

My friend, Mike, and I spent hours yesterday photographing in Pearl Fryar’s garden.

Wherever you looked, there was beauty.

I hope to have the opportunity to meet Pearl Fryar one day.  What a creative man living a creative life!
